Smile IT is an integrator for SALTO access control solutions. Our industrial team provides solutions such as keyless access for locks and padlocks and associated monitoring services.

Smile IT partners with several industrial grade CCTV providers such as Milestone, Bosch, Hanwha, Axis, NX Witness, Avigilon. We have significant experience with large scale CCTV installs, high powered camera installs and AI-based recognition systems to monitor specified scenarios e.g. PPE detection, number plate recognition etc.

Project design is the initial stages of project scoping and planning. It involves on-site investigations and tests to gather technical details and requirements. Related findings and recommendations are reported, leading to a tailored project proposal which includes a solution overview and proof-of-concept tests for validation.

The proposal is reviewed with the client to ensure they understand the recommended solution and are satisfied with the proposal. Further changes to the design are made as required in consultation with the client. Once the client accepts the proposal, a project plan is created detailing how the project will be executed, monitored, and controlled from start to finish. Once defined, the project progresses into the implementation phase.

Project management is ongoing during and following project implementation. A dedicated project manager and coordinator is assigned to undertake tasks required for the success of the project including:

  • Communicating with stakeholders
  • Monitoring progress in accordance with project schedule
  • Managing resources, procurement and third parties
  • Resolving issues and risks
  • Performing quality control upon project completion.

Project implementation is the execution phase of the project, where the project is implemented in accordance with the milestones, deliverables and timelines outlined in the project plan.

This is typically the phase of the project which requires the greatest amount of time. Depending on the project, this can involve tasks such as migration of systems, installation and management of communication, network, and security solutions, phone system support, testing, staff training and decommissioning retired systems.

A flexible, informal event held either at the client’s premises or online to provide training to staff on an aspect of information technology.

Example of training topics include cyber security awareness, Office 365 training, and software training.

A formal, structured training event with defined learning outcomes. Content and training material is developed with the client’s staff and desired outcomes in mind.
